Use DOCX documents to generate PDF documents with single lines, paragraphs, or tables that are pre-filled with the CRM data (for example, Salesforce, Pipedrive, MS Dynamics 364, SharePoint, NetSuite, or HubSpot). Easily collect signatures and data, and then use this data to create and update your CRM records.
In the Add documents modal window, select Document generation to create a new document from scratch.
To upload a DOCX document with previously added tags (30 MB max), select Computer in the Upload form section.
To select documents from the library, select Library in the Upload form section.
When in the library, switch to the Documents and contracts tab. Then, select the document you need by clicking Use form.
You can also import DOCX files from the service you need.
Once your DOCX documents have been uploaded, you’ll be redirected to the online editor to:
edit existing tags in an uploaded DOCX document
add new pre-fillable or fillable field tags
add fillable fields using the Fields Panel
To generate a pre-fillable tag, use the Tag Generator.
Note: The tags created via the Tag Generator are only available in Read-only mode and won’t be available for users to fill in.
The following tag types are available:
Insert text
Insert table
List
Add conditional logic
Insert image
Then, enter a descriptive tag name. Use English letters and numbers to name your tags. Tag names should be unique in each DOCX document. You can then use pre-fill Bots to populate these tags with data.
Tip: You can name your tags anyway you like using only letters and numbers. Don’t use any special characters and spaces. Make sure you give your tags descriptive names so that you can easily identify them when mapping fields with Bots.
Next, select the tag’s formatting such as text, date, number, or currency. And that’s it! Your tag will be automatically generated. Copy the generated tag and paste it wherever you need on the document.
To add fillable fields, just drag and drop them wherever you need on the document.
After adding the fields you need, click Save.
Here you can use DOCX documents in your Flow Template together with PDF documents, Web forms, and other forms.
