Secure your business processes by tracking every change with a detailed audit trail. Review a chronological record of every change made in a workspace, workflow, and documents.

Workspace audit trail

The workspace audit trail lets you track every change made in your workspace. Open the workspace audit trail to view the following information:

  • Type of activity that took place within your workspace

  • Information about the user who performed an action

  • Date and time when an action took place

  • Information about login and logout attempts

Note: Workspace Owner, Supervisor, and Auditor can view all workspace audit trail actions while Fillers can only see the actions they've performed.

To view the workspace audit trail, go to the workspace page and select the Track workspace activity in the left-hand menu.

On the Audit trail page, you can check types of activity and set a timeframe to track workspace changes.

You can also export all audit trail information in PDF or CSV format.

Workflow audit trail

The workflow audit trail provides a record of all changes made to a process such as:

  • Type of activity that took place in a workflow

  • Information about the teammate who performed an action within a workflow

  • Date and time when the action took place

  • Information about the device used to access a workflow.

Note: The Workspace Owner, Supervisor, and Auditor can view the workflow audit trail. The Admin can view the audit trail for the workflow they've created. Fillers can only view actions they've performed within a workflow.

To access the workflow audit trail, go to Workflows tab and select the workflow you'd like to track. You can select either Go to documents or Configure to access.

In the selected workflow, click the More actions tab and select Audit trail from the dropdown.

From here, you can check actions by date and export all information in PDF or CSV format.

Documents audit trail

The documents audit trail helps you track who and when made changes in a document. To view the document audit trail, start by selecting a workflow, then choose the one you'd like to track or go to the Documents tab.

Note: The Workspace Owner, Supervisor, Auditor, and Admin can view the audit trail for every documents. Fillers can only view actions they've performed with a documents.

In the document, click the More actions icon and select Audit trail from the dropdown.

You can check actions by date, a specific time frame. You can also download the document audit trail information in PDF or CSV format.
