Configure the following settings to enable airSlate functionality for your NetSuite organization.
Note:Administrator-level access or equivalent permissions are required to view and configure these settings.
Enable Token-Based Authentication for your organization.
In order to generate and recognize access tokens, a NetSuite organization must have token-based authentication enabled. This setting is crucial for efficient operation within NetSuite.
1.1. Go to Setup > Company > Enable Features.
1.2. Go to the SuiteCloud tab.
1.3. Check the Token-Based Authentication checkbox. Ensure to read and agree to the consent agreement before enabling.
Tip:It's recommended to create a dedicated NetSuite user for the airSlate bundle. This user can manage tokens, providing convenience for administrators who won't have to generate tokens individually for each user.
2. Create a user for the airSlate integration in your NetSuite account (recommended.)
2.1. Go to Lists > Employees > Employees > New.
2.2. Provide a name to your new user and enter a valid email address to access the NetSuite.
2.3. Scroll down to the Access subtab. Check the Give Access permission and click Add a role.
2.4. Save the settings.
3. Grant Specific Permissions to the airSlate User in NetSuite.
Add permissions that allow users to generate the following tokens in NetSuite:
Access Token Management
Log in using Access Tokens
User Access Tokens.
3.1. Go to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles.
3.2. Locate the role you'd like to use for managing airSlate and click Edit.
3.3. Go to Permissions > Setup and add the following permissions:
Access Token Management
Log in using Access Tokens
User Access Tokens.
Additionally, set the following permissions required for the Bots setup:
ALLOW CROSS-SUBSIDIARY RECORD VIEWING
CORE ADMINISTRATION PERMISSIONS
ACCESSIBLE SUBSIDIARIES - ALL
Once done, select Save.
4. Generate an access token in NetSuite.
4.1. Go to Setup > Users/Roles > Access Tokens > New.
4.2. Set the following values in the fields:
Application name - airSlate Integration;
User - enter the name of the recently created user;
Role - set the role which contains the following permissions( Access Token Management, Log in using Access Tokens, and User Access Tokens.)
After, click Save.
5. Save the Token ID and Secret.
After generating the token, you'll receive a Token ID and Secret. Ensure to save these details as they will be required for configuring airSlate for NetSuite Bots.
