Autostart is an event or action that triggers the automatic document sending based on the conditions you set.

Autostart can be set to running documents on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis or on a custom schedule. You can also schedule it to send documents from another workflows, every time you update your Google or Excel 365 spreadsheet, or documents initiated from Salesforce, Dynamics, Sharepoint, and others.

1.Find the Start block just above your diagram and click Add autostart.

2.On the Autostart tab, click Add autostart.

3.Select the desired options for how you want to start the process (you may add as many autostarts as you wish):

  • Scheduled Start — set a date, time, and conditions for when the workflow will be automatically run and how often

  • From another workflow — set up conditions to run a new workflow and choose another workflow to pre-fill the document from.

  • Google Sheets update — send documents every time a row is added or updated in a spreadsheet.

  • Salesforce — send documents from Salesforce based on the custom CRM button you configure.

  • MS Dynamics 365 — send documents from MS Dynamics 365 based on the custom CRM button you configure.

  • NetSuite — send documents from NetSuite based on the custom CRM button you configure.

  • SharePoint — send documents from SharePoint based on the custom CRM button you configure.

  • Microsoft 365 Excel update — send documents every time a row is added or updated in an Excel spreadsheet.

  • From external event — set up conditions for sending documents pre-filled from an external service.

  • Scheduled start from Excel file — send documents pre-filled from an Excel file on the date and time you’ve set.

  • Scheduled start from Google Sheets — send documents pre-filled from Google Sheets at the date and time you’ve set.

  • Airtable update — send documents when the record is added or updated in Airtable.

Once you’ve configured the autostart options, the new documents will be sent automatically.
