Automatically hide the Discard option for recipients in the Other Actions menu.
Use case example: Use the bot to prevent any signer from accidentally discarding changes during the signing process.
How to set up
When the bot works by default:
The Forbid discarding changes bot activates when a document is opened by a recipient.
Add the bot depending on your needs as described in this article. You may install this bot both in the step or using the All bots tab.Find the Forbid discarding changes bot in the list of bots and click Install bot.
Alternatively, the bot is also available as a part of the steps settings. All you need is to access the required step settings, go to the Advanced settings>Signing process, and check the Forbid discarding changes option.
Action settings:
The option is enabled automatically. No actions are required from your side in this section.
Conditions
Configure the bot execution conditions based on simple “if-this-then-that” rules. For example, you can set conditions based on document field information, recipient data, date of document signing, document data, and decline reason. Learn more about bot conditions usage in the dedicated article.
If the bot condition is not set up, the bot will hide the Discard option whenever a document is opened by the recipient. It will not perform any additional checks or validations.
