This article demonstrates how to use the various customizable SMS feature.
Customization in the workflow diagram
SMS customization is available within the Step via its settings:
Choose phone number as the type of delivery > enter a phone number > go to the Personal message tab.
2. Enter a message for the recipient and hit Apply.
Alternatively, you can also customize your SMS by accessing the Step settings.
Go to the Add default recipient section, enter the phone number, and create a message. When finished, hit Apply.
Customization on the documents page
If you need to change the recipient, click the phone number and select Change recipient.
Enter a phone number and proceed with creating a message. When finished, hit Send.
The SMS customization option is also available on the Status page when changing recipients.
If you haven’t yet added a recipient for the Flow, hit + Add recipient.
Enter a phone number and proceed with creating a message. When finished, hit Send.
Tip: While the customizable SMS features discussed in this article offer a range of benefits, there are certain limitations to be aware of:
The customizable SMS features mentioned in this article do not currently support bulk sending. Each SMS message needs to be customized individually.
Customizing the sender name for SMS messages is not currently available.
SMS messages must be written in Latin letters.
The limit on the total number of characters for SMS messages is 136.
New and existing placeholders within the SMS template cannot be modified.
