Once the document placeholder form has been set by the workflow creator, users will be able to upload their DOCX/PDF files.
Note: Uploading files to the document placeholder form is only available for users (not available for workflow creators).
Users then select Upload to upload files from their device. The files will then appear as PDFs.
Once uploaded, the document will open in the PDF editor.
If an uploaded document contains fillable fields, they will be available to users who have access to this document to complete them. These users will also be able to edit the fillable fields previously completed by other users.
If a file uploaded to a document placeholder contains any required fillable fields, users won’t be able to leave this file without completing them.
Note: Fillable fields of documents uploaded to the document placeholder won’t be available for assigning roles.
When you’ve finished editing, the document will become a document in the current revision.
Tip: If uploaded files contain fillable field tags, they will display in the PDF document but won’t be available for editing in the current version.
