Add elements/widgets to your forms or surveys by dragging & dropping or clicking an element/widget in the list.
Set up and edit properties of added elements/widgets by clicking them. This will open the Properties settings on the right for the selected element/widget.
Note: while most of the element/widget properties are similar, some of them may still differ (depending on the element/widget type).
Here you can adjust the following properties:
It is possible to assign a field to a specific recipient. Enter the field name that will be used when configuring bots and setting up roles. You can also make elements/widgets required.
The line placeholder is set by default and can be edited according to your needs. It is also possible to set the line default value that will be displayed to recipients when filling out the form.
In the Validation format section, select the format you need for your element/widget (US State, US Zip Code, US SSN etc.).
In the Advanced settings section, you can:
hide elements/widgets or make them visible
enable or disable access to elements/widgets
The Save as widget option allows for creating custom widgets.
You can also adjust the size of an element/widget by dragging its right part.
To copy & paste form elements/widgets within a form or other forms in a workflow, use combinations of the keystrokes CTRL+C and CTRL+V on your keyboard. This will allow you to copy and paste both elements and their child elements separately. For example, it is possible to not only copy an entire table, but also its columns.
Tip: To copy & paste elements correctly, be sure to copy the entire element or its child element, and not just the text in the elements.
The properties of copied elements or their child elements will be the same as in the initial element/child element. For example, if a role was assigned to a copied element, it will remain so after pasting it in a form within one workflow.
However, when pasting it in another workflow’s form that is hidden or unavailable to a role that was assigned to the copied element, the element will be unavailable for this role.
